How to get from the airport to Malaga
The cheapest way to get to Malaga from the airport is definitely by train. The RENFE Cercanías airport station is located in front of the arrivals terminal. Go there and buy your ticket for line C1, which will take you to the María Zambrano train station in a very short time (less than 10 minutes). The train runs every 20 minutes and costs €1.80 per person.
You can also choose to skip that stop on the tour and continue to the center of Malaga, getting off at “Málaga Centro – Alameda”, you will reach that destination with the same ticket.
Bus Line A, you can take it directly next to the arrivals terminal of Malaga airport heading to the city center and vice versa. This runs every 20/25 minutes, from 7am to midnight, if you leave the airport towards the city.
